If you want to add Dunlop, Bridgestone and Yokohama to your collection of rubberwear, place the LOGOALPHA.dds file in your LFS/data/dds folder, but remember to back up the original one first! www.ice-files.com/alheeley/LOGOALPHA.dds

INside your LFS CMX viewer folder (you do have the latest verion I hope) there is a folder called Data, and in that there is another one called DDS. The file here called logoalpha.dds has to go inside this dds folder. Make sure you back up the original first. Then you will be able to see them in the cmx viewer.

arrrgh and my english lol.... what i wanted to ask is:
in that dds file are 4 differet tyre brand logos, right?
and what if I want to use say, yokohama on the BMW F1 instead of michelin, because even after replacing the logoalpha.dds file,it stays that way. it does affect other cars....
should I edit the dds file somehow or make a new one?If I have to make a new one,how dI do that?
I do have a .dds plugin for photoshop, though.
sorry for being a noob.

Never apologise for being a 'N00b'! If you use my dds file (first post in this thread) I've replaced all the standard ones with new ones, so if you choose Chromo it shows Dunlop, Michelin goes to Bridgestone, Evostar goes to Yokohama, and so on. SOme of the edited logoalpha.dds files keep the michelin one there as the second one down (when you view the dds file) and by default the cmx viewer uses the logo that is the second one down. By replacing michelin with the letters of your choice this should show up in the cmx viewer.

I have a question about it amigos. Lets say out of sheer curiosity I decided I wanted to make some tire/tyre logos. I can do those in photoshop right? As In, I can save them as a .dds or would I have to go about another route to doing so?
