Cheers! Just trying to find the most natural lines at the minute, I love that transition from the 'flat' top of the rear bumper to the vertical side...not quite nailed it yet, this is one of several attempts

That VWS is looking fantastic thus far. I'd love to see a purdy racing scheme evolve from it!

Noodling about with my XRG beater and popped it on the XRR and in doing so accidently created the greatest car never made! (possibly...imo...) Still a WIP, the end of the stripe should match the car's lines, wing is wrong and I think I'll just use the Ford text without the Oval, however: EDIT: Booty shot, Ignore all the dds files in this one, it's from my 'testing' copy

its probaly a little late, but i really like that VWS on the prevous page. one idea could be to realign the door graphic a little, the plastic trim bit overlaps the grey a little and draws your attention away from the smooth curves

Obvious now you've mentioned it . To be honest I haven't touched the vdub for a while, I'll be kicking myself if and when it is finally released, but a bit disillusioned with it at the moment. Cheers for the feedback though, I'll maybe pick that project up again soon.

Not done much except for bangers and beaters for a while but toying with another 80's clone, found the Group B version but fancied doing the road car version, very much still a WIP. The 400 logo is also still a WIP (which is why it's not angled to the body etc etc), doing that in Zara, need to space out the numbers for definite. I don't like paste on stuff really, but this seems to need the paste-on grills/vents...tempted to leave it as just the these and not the lights, I think they'd look really ****? Main reference pic is this one, there's all sorts of versions from the Group B with Yellow all the way to the front to the later ones where all 3 colours are just under the door windows! www.opel-martin.de/autohaus_martin/img/detail_oldies/manta400.jpgThe edit was a 10min job as well sorry!

Cheers! The main problem is picking which bits to take from all the various versions...and trying to do things that I do on autopilot in Photoshop with Gimp

Thanks
I got a new PC, Photoshop on my old one may not have been the most official thing in the world. Much as I'd love to get legit Photoshop I don't have the funds for now so thought I'd give Gimp a go. I just wish they'd sell Pshop 7 off cheap, that'd do me!

I don't think I'd be able to go back down to PS7... I like my CS3; though not the biggest fan of CS4.
