Um... I tried pretty much all the ways you folks mentioned to get the reflective floor working... But I still can't make it work... Any advice?

What do you get Knight? If you can link to a screen, might help to locate the problem Regards, Ian

Well, it's 'cause I have no idea how to get to there really. I tried following your steps... I beleive its in the beginnings of the topic, but nothing seems to work correctly. Maybe a detailed step by step to get to there or something. And there's no... um... "open" in the materials window either. Um. How can I say this. I am rather lost.

Sounds like the 3DS help files will be the best place to start Knight. I'm guessing you haven't got the .mat material lib added.. all of this is covered in the help files.. then by that stage, you should be sorted if you still need to read about the flooring, to follow the steps in the above link to get a result There's not really much more of a step-by-step I can give regarding the floor materials and their usage and there's plenty of resources already available for general 3DS tips and would be pointless me reiterating them (probably poorly) here too. Regards, Ian

Wow. I try to never use help files because I don't usually like them, and sometimes I don't have the patience. But now it took like 15 seconds. And everything works well, following the guide and your instructions in the other post. Thanks!

No probs.. I'm very often the same, especially as most help files aren't often that helpful.. 3DS and PHP have the 2 best manuals I've encountered so far Glad you're sorted dude Regards, Ian
