I have no idea whether I am in the right place or not, but I have to start somewhere. I have been using my own graphics in Grand Prix Legends and Microsoft Flight Sim. for more than a decade.
I read and followed the tutorial for putting your own skins on the AI that you race against in the game. I have tried everything I could think of and nothing has worked. I know that I'm doing something wrong but I just can't figure out what it is. With all the experience that I have I should have been able to figure it out without bothering someone else.
I am EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED and apologize ahead of time for bothering you.
PLEASE HELP...

I think I know how you feel and I hope I can help. I use the AI regulary e.g. to see a skin in progress on track. What I do is: (hope this works since I run the game in German...) 1. put the skin into the folder 'skins' in the LFS main directory 2. say 'create new skin' (might be 'design' in English) in LFS' garage and chose the appropriate skin in the next menue/list 3. rename that new skin/design to 'AI 1' 4. back to the lobby and remove myself from the players-list 5. add AI 1 to the list 6. start the session 7. AI is using my skin on track... It might be important to activate 'AI uses player setup' and 'AI uses player skin' in 'misc options'...! hopefully this helps

Yup, just as schUPpor said. However, you don't need 'AI uses player colours' or 'AI uses player setup' selected.

Thank you both. I followed the procedure and it worked. I found out that my problem was not putting a space between the AI and the number. In my experience it is always the stupid stuff that drives you nuts.
Thanks again, it probably would have been very traumatic figuring it out myself.
Happy Racing,
Greg
