ok, i no this totalty noobish, like weres the tutorials or guide?? cheers jay. Using graphics or art software you edit the car's 'skin' by painting over the default image using any paint tools you like and/or pasting logo and decal files or text on to the image. With a little practice and guidance you can make interesting skins for your own use or to share with others. You can download free software like 'The Gimp', and just open any particular car skin and experiment. There are lots of free resources on this forum and on our site, things like decals and skin kits to make life easier. And you can ask pretty much any of us for help, especially the admins, and we will try to guide you.

What kind of tutorials are you looking for? What program do you have access to for skinning? Mostly you need to know how to use your skinning program. You need to know how the tools work, their limitations and how to circumvent their limitations. Once you know how to use the program, you can start learning some of the finer points of LFS skinning, like skin stretching, composition, compression, etc. [EDIT] Beaten by our fearless leader... If you have questions to ask, try to be as specific as possible. It makes answering them easier for us and will result in more helpful guidance for you.
