Well, I´m noob skinner but I sometimes make a good skin, so I will post it here  . I make the skins in Gimp, but still need to learn some thingies  . |

About most of your skins I can say - "um, there's something missing". I thought a bit, so I have advice. Try to experiment with subtle patterns, make more details, try with the shadows of elements painted on skin. And be more precise with alignment of elements - for example your skin from 4th post in this thread.
Finally, put more effort to future skins. Make them unique.
