Funny things happening here See.. in fact that i'm using brazil demo, I cannot make render bigger than 512*348... I'm gonna try V-ray but I'm not good at it with car rendering yet. Sorry about my bad English

Do a web search for 'BIGRender', Ed, if you want to stick with brazil.. it'll enable you to render 4 or whatever bits of your image which you can then cut / paste into a single larger image with photoshop or your preferred gfx app.. it's free too Alternatively, if you do want to get into vray (I'd recommend this route personally after having worked with bothn now for some time and all but come to hate brazil).. < www.aversis.be/extra_tutorials/vray_studio_lighting.htm> should be a good start to setting up a base scene for rendering with vray Regards, Ian

I personally dont prefer playing with big render.... Comparing Brazil with v-ray, I thing Brazil has better global illuminatio and you can get good lightning rezults without spending tons of hours with setting parameters (like in V-ray). But with all these settings you can get more interesting rezults. I used v-ray in some room rendering. V-ray is very good at this. And by the way : img153.imageshack.us/img153/9472/fxoqc8.jpgMy crappy wallpaper...

Ok. So after few days spended with this car scene in v-ray I finally have rezults. I know this is not the best that can be done with v-ray but I'm satisfied with this. Render took about an hour. I did some after editing with photoshop. So here is the image. Compare it with brazil render. img157.imageshack.us/img157/4098/fxogt01uw6.jpgWhat you think?

Here is my attempt to make the XFR look a bit more interesting... I'm still a noob in rendering things... so there are some little mistakes. ;D ;D ;D

Not bad, but some more work with custom part modelling should make it look better. Keep it up
