Bevel and emboss have no place on a logo if you ask me. And usually the logos are way smaller than the actual brandname. Those two things are my main concers about that thing.

You noticed that it was a suggestion to make his better, Street. Sometimes no reply means that it is well done, but not spectacularly eye catching. I know I'm guilty of posting when I see something really great, but not when I see something that's good, but not unbelievably awesome. I'm not saying that your design is sub-par at all, it's great in fact, but maybe it got overlooked.

You just have to post something bad and the come running Lol. I don't usually read this section, so that's why I didn't comment. I wonder what Maggot will say. Lol That aside: Version 2

Lots of creativity really. people who can do really good fictitious sponsors have to start with a blank slate and push an idea through design. It's hard because it's advertising for an invisible product, ya know?
***See my Signature***
Nemesis Garage is my own company that, fictitiously, tunes and paints cars.
I was going to release the wolf head logo and the graffiti logo for public use, but I don't think anyone would want them.

Not fictitious, but it is a logo: For my brother's business. Should be on some real world cars soon, so I'll take some pics to show.

Street - Sorry reply took so long, I don't check here all the time and I've been real sick for the last week or so. Logo is nice, but I'm not a fan of the square background. It seems more like a banner than a logo with the background. I'd lose that and then you'll have a nice one. Falcon - The concentric rings, while not necessarily unique, are very nice. I've always liked that kind of thing. The edges are very jagged, though, they could do with some anti-aliasing. I don't think the font fits in with the graphic very well, though. Some more work could make that a fantastic logo. If I remember, I'd like to do up something of my own based on that one this weekend if you don't mind. Something to use on a paintscheme I've got an idea for, and to show how I would approach that idea. Another thing to think about with logos - try to have the graphic (if you have one) that accompanies the text have a relation to it. For instance, Kodak's logo is a film negative. Feel free to distort and abstract the graphic (and it doesn't have to be a tangible object, it could be symbolic) but try to give it some relation to the product or service of the company.
