I'm currently working on re-structuring my skin garage, re-uploading all the content (lost in a deletion by the host) and so forth. I was just wondering, what do you guys think is the best setup for the garage? Should I make a series of posts, each one dedicated to a different car, and put all of the skins in those initial posts? Problem with that, though, is there is many cars I do not have skins for, so those empty posts just take up space; plus once S3 comes, I won't be able to insert posts in there. Should I just continue with plopping new posts in the thread as I make new skins? Thoughts, please

Personally I think it is best to treat your topic like a web page. The first few posts might contain thumbnails or maybe larger images to click on which will lead the reader to the skin or information or whatever. This forum is based on YaBB, which allows tables to be made. Using basic tables it is easy to set out a post with content distributed neatly.
You (and many others) have a lot of content to display, some sort of organised layout would make it easier to browse through your content.

Hmm... I suppose I could do a system with a table in the initial post, containing thumbnails to my various skins. Those thumbnails could link to posts with more info elsewhere in the thread. (For instance, a thumbnail of the Keon Technologies FZR could link to the post in the thread containing the image and link to the skin itself, along with a little blurb about the skin itself, and maybe more images too)
That way the newest stuff will always be in the back of the thread (like in most current threads) for the usualls to easily find whats new, while at the same time having it all in one spot for new members to see (or for me to redownload them all if something happens)
Is there anywhere I can go for literature on the YaBB table system? I did a little bit of HTML in highschool which I grasped quite well; I'd imagine it wouldn't take long for me to understand this code as well.

tr tags are the rows of the table, td tags are the columns. The width and height of the column will be determined by the size of the contents of the cell. The largest content will set the size for all cells.

Looks simple enough. I'll start working on the garage now. I've got several pics taken, I just need to sort out exacly the size I should post them. What is the maximum width you want the pics to be on this forum? 800 pixels too wide? EDIT: From what I recall, that is very similar to the HTML coding. Is there a way, like in HTML, to manipulate the border? If possible I'd like to remove the border.

I'm sure it will look a hell of a lot nicer with your skins in the garage!

OO, I'll have to steal the sig idea too! lol I think last night is my last night in work before I get two days off (maybe only a day off as I'm trying to get next weekend off) so I might get some time to try and finish my garage. We'll see
