Very very nice! I'm loving those rims, too. Did you make them? If they came in the super pack that was released with the software, which rim file are they? They suit the car really well |

yeah, great rim pack that is -- very crafty work, i might add.  and funny you mention they suit the car well -- that'd probably be because the actual car the skin is based off uses those wheels! ;D |

just letting everyone know i haven't stopped skinning, i've just picked up too many projects to do at once, haha. here a WIP shot of my current project, and probably one of the harder skins i've had to make due to the lack of pictures of it.  90% completed. i've also got 2 other new skins that i havent started (still gathering resources), and 2 remakes of my old public skins. lots of activity, but not much to show for it, yet. |

figured i'd post this one here -- one of my private skins i've been using recently:  originally, this was going to be a public skin. the only exception was when i made it, it looked quite dull. it sat around without being touched for over a month as i had no good ideas to make it look any better, which was a bit dissappointing. then, .inc released what is known as the "ectype" bodykit. being very popular after its release, i was quite hesitant to run around wearing it considering it was thrown onto a LOT of skins at that time. without showing anyone anything, i secretly played around with it, putting it onto skins i had already made to see what they'd look like. they looked OK, but nothing worth re-releasing them for. then i thought it'd be a good idea to put the bodykit over the top of the skin that you see above. it turned a simple skin into something that had a lot more depth than i could have done with other techniques, and from that moment on i kept it and used it for myself as a private skin. it has probably become one of my favourite skins to date. much credit goes to .inc for firstly the bodykit shadings, as well as the rims. |
