hey, i have just found this forum and i have also started making skins, so ill post my first creation here. ;D  i just have the actuall skin there, if someone could make a pic of it ingame that would be awsome, i dont know how to take pics of it ingame.  comments are appreciated since i wanna get better at skinning ;D |

To take a screenshot ingame, hit your print scr button on the keyboard. This copies the screenshot to the clip board, then you have to paste it into any graphics program. Or download the cmx viewer at the LFS website. Then you can export a jpeg as you create the skin and view it in the viewer. You can rotate or see side, top, front, and rear profile.
Also, if you use Photoshop or Paintshop Pro, find the template thread somewhere here for future skins. Bunta created some fantastic high res templates for most cars with wireframes, mask, and each section on a separate layer. I'm not sure what all will open the psd (Photoshop) files. I know Paintshop Pro will.
Other than that, it's a cool graphic there. I like that on the side.

The CF on this skin is too big for the size of the skin. On a 1024^2 it'd be fine, but not here. I recommend using 1024x1024 size to improve the quality. Also, the fake lights are starting to get 'old', if you know what i mean. And if you want them, put them highr, not on the bottom edge  |
