Oh bloody hell Opera pisses me off. I just wrote a very lengthy post describing my idea, and the god damn application crashed. So i'll be brief this time around, Would some of you be interested in 'donating' any of your skins to a skinpack dedicated to the LFS AI? You're already aware that you can assign skins to the Ais by creating .col files with the same name as the AIs. However, creating 12*19 (16*19 in W9) .col files is quite the task, but I'd be willing to do it if I had some nice skins to work with. If we can not come up with enough skins the default skins and some body colour editing will have to do. edit: lol, thanks scawen for almost doubling my workload by making it possible run 20 AIs in W10 I think some nice skins would spice up (the otherwise rather crappy) LFS AI experience. The skinpack (which would be distributed here and on the official LFS forum) could include a readme giving full credit to the skin authors. Thoughts? The pack has now been releasedwww.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?p=457031#post457031

This topic I set up to try to gather a lot of great skins for community use. perhaps you could try those skins first? Your request might prompt a few more members to post their two best skins.

Bunta, I have spotted that thread earlier while snooping around. I will have a closer look and most likely contact a few persons regarding their work. Ian, I did not realize you were a Skin Engineer, now that's a fancy title! I've had a look and im sure most of the available skins will find their way into this project. Thank you for the offer

Thank you tonix, both of your skins have been added. Get in touch if you'd happen to find any other skins you would like to include.
Thank you JZ! As a matter of fact, I WOULD like the .col files.

Maggot, there, there, it's not a competition. Though, if it's any consolation I can let you know that Ian was able to provide such a large amount of skins by creating slightly different colour variations of just a few skins *har, har* Daloonie, thank you! I was able grab most of your skins, the exception are the three files uploaded to Wiki Upload. I tried several times but could not grab more than 152 bytes ...

heh, I think the 'Skin Engineer' part is part of the post count tags built into the forum (rather than noob, regular, part of the furniture ).. but skinning's cool! As for the multiple colour variations, the Rizla ones were done that way to represent each of the standard packet colours available (at least here in the UK) Anyways, glad you found some of use fel.. feel free to add any numbers to the skins that have blank number areas if you think they'd look better. I left some blank for people to do the same for their own personal use providing the filenames were left as-is. Good luck with the project! Regards, Ian

Well duh! Of course I realize it's 'only' a title, I am a forum junkie too, remember? On topic, bean0 has too given me his permission to use his public skins for this pack, I haven't browsed his site yet but I suspect we'll reach at least a total of 100 skins with his additions. That's not bad at all. Tomorrow I'll personally poke some of the designers here at MS. Peace! Edit, oh Scawen ... W10 can run 20 (!) AIs .. .
