I've got over 100 hours of online racing done in Forza 2, it's certainly million times better in that area than GT5P. However, there aren't any wheels (except for the rubbish entry-level toys) for 360 so driving on a pad does get dull after a while. FM2 online is still fun when you want to have a quick race with LFS friends in nurburgring every now and the. GT5P just FEELS so much better on a G25 compared to FM2 on a pad. It's just a shame the online mode is utterly broken, while the useless ramming community certainly isn't helping the cause.

I spent another hour or two in prologue. It's going by really fast. I just spent some time hot-lapping the R35 GT-R and I must say, what a car! The games is very solid (Especially for a juiced up demo) The only real downside for gameplay is you have to get to S-class before you can tune your cars... Although driving them stock has been a blast! ;D I still can't get over the visuals though. Aside from a little rough shading the cars are immaculate! (I'd expect as much seeing as how they're about 200,000 polys each )

Toni -- "Also something that drifters such as me enjoy in GT5P, is the possibility to have FIFTY degrees of steering lock."
That came in very handy. ;D I've just been fooling around, getting sideways with my Viper on HS Ring. A quick question: I'm initiating perfectly and getting the corners spot on, but when I re-wright myself (IE Drift to straightaway) I'm fish-tailing all over the place. Is it my controller, or am I missing something? I never have this problem with LFS, but I think it's in my technique. I dunno. Someone out there give me some pointers.

Do you have some toe in on those rear wheels? Should help stability.

It's propably about throttle control, start decreasing your throttle earlier before the corner exit. I made lots of #1 drift rankings in Suzuka East with a lot of RWD cars, challengers are accepted.

I tried that. Hell, I even idled around the corners and when I came back to right myself, it just all went to 'ish. I think it's the bank angle at HS ring. Most of my troubles come through that first turn before the first D section. It looks amazing until I try to correct up. I wish they had a better track for this though. Suzuka east is the best, but it gets boring. most of the others have too much straightaway for my liking. My rear toe angle on my Viper was .35 out, but it's 0 again. feels a little better. I really see no reason in having such a strong toe for a car that can generally twist out at any speed.

Just took the Blitz BNR34 out for a spin. I like the viper better, but the foil logos look fantastic in game. The car isn't as great as I thought it'd be driving wise, but it is a looker. --currently saving up for the Ferrari F2007
