Hi all! as we all know, modern day F1 cars and a few special super cars (example: McLaren F1 LM) are made of carbon fibre, but yet, they're not all black cars, theres a coating of colour over it . So, that gave me the idea to create a kit where you can colour carbon fibre to any colour you like. Very simple to make really but OH does it have the effect . I've posted an example and you can find the kit posted below it. Carbon Fibre Colour Kit

Not to overly boast about it or anything, but I've been doing coloured CF since I began skinning, about five years ago. But in reality, with painted CF you can't tell that it is CF underneath the paint, it just looks like any ordinary painted panel.

I initially set the CF layer type to Mulitply and would just place it over it but the main problem is that little black spots start piercing through the colour. I may modify it a bit to show the CF a bit more clearly as, right now, you can barely see it so will experiment a bit and see if I can improve it. drgonzo: thats weird , link is still working for me.
