Welcome back robbymac The cars where changed a bit in the newest patch. Some better interior in the XRR for example with fire extinguisher. And so the layout was changed a bit on the mapping aswell. Nothing much, but enough for new kits to be made. The only things able to be modded is track layout with cones on allready existing tracks. And yes it is being done, but I doubt anyone here is much into that. If you're talking textures then yes there's a bunch of people having released some good packs with highres textures. Some of the cars have more polygons now. You may notice that the wheel arches on these cars are now more rounded, and also the front of the cars (intakes, spoilers etc) in some cases are also more rounded or smooth. The bonnet intake on the XRT is now wider as well. I've still got a few kits to update yet. I'm currently working on the FBM and the XFR. The changes don't make the current kits useless though, but if you want to follow the polys exactly for some particular detail, you may find your result doesn't fit the new mapping quite perfectly.
