Hello everyone, I've rendered the BF1 using my own ray tracer LiAR isn't a raytracer. It doesn't look as fancy as all those Brazil renders, but hey, this is a one man job =) It's still a work in progress, no GI yet, nor image based lighting. The colours are a bit bleached, because I'm lacking a good car paint shader. Greetz, Bramz

Where can I find a BF1 Render scene? Ian doesn't seem to have made it (on his website, found in another topic), and the ones here don't seem to be reacheable.

I think Ian may have discovered Poser……. Heh.. I will be working really hard with that soon as I want real 3D figures but low-poly Sorry all, I kinda veered away from rendering for a while and been concentrating more on modeling and texturing and most of my time gone into this project currently. The plus side is I do plan to redo materials for some things from that so they they can be used for rendering (such as the grandstand / race control etc along with the textures and any wireframes used). Too many projects on and not enough time.. but does look like there's some really nice renders appearing of this car now I guess I should stop with the proverbial "soon" and just post an "it's done.. go get it!" post instead when it's ready Regards, Ian

Careful with Poser, it will want to suck you in……
Well let me be one of the first to congratulate you on Ashtown Park. It looks fantastic.
