Hey Bunta Can you relase a PSD format of just the Black Templat and the hood ones for teh skins? What would be the point? Well For One It Would Be Smaller for ppl Trying to save Hard drive Space. And 2 ITs faster then downloading the templats and extrating them your self....

Well For One It Would Be Smaller for ppl Trying to save Hard drive Space. And 2 ITs faster then downloading the templats and extrating them your self.... Although I see your point I am, unfortunately, unsympathetic. These kits take anywhere from 3-6 hours to make, not including testing. I personally do not even use PSD files so I make the kits purely for others to use. For these two reasons I am reluctant to produce any "lesser" kits than the Pro Kits. If file size and hard drive space wasn't an issue my Pro Kits would be double the size they are now with many more features and accessories. In my opinion, I am making what people want: - An accurate wireframe for accurate skinning. - Layered body components for quick painting, application of textures or gradients, or making masks. - Additional components in detailed layers - mirrors and stems, grille and cockpit bezels, hoods (some are CF), intakes etc. - A black mask overlay to reduce file size and neaten up the work. - All in high resolution and with a focus on high quality. If somebody wants less than this it means I get to do more work in order to make an inferior kit. So please excuse me if I dismiss your suggestion. I don't mean to be brash, I have just stated the truth and I hope you will understand my position.

I am new to these boards, so I would like to start by saying a big hello to everyone.
"HELLO"
I think these skins kits have been a great help, and would just like to extend my thanks to you Bunta. I downloaded the FOX skin yesterday and found it extremely helpful in designing various skins. I was toying with some ideas, whilst playing around with the vectoring tools in Photoshop, but I was finding it extremly difficult to line things up accurately. The wireframe overlays have been a great help as a guide for creating some fantastic looking decals for my skins, so thankyou once again, you have saved me many hours of heartache.

Hippy Comments like yours make my efforts worth while. I'm glad the kits are saving skinners time, it's good to have all of the basic stuff taken care of so you can get on with the creative side of skinning. Thanks for the great feedback mate.

XRT Kit has now been superceded by the XRT Pro Kit. Please report any issues with this kit. UF1 progress: After spending a lot of time trying to make decent roof components I have abandoned the idea. The roof is just not modelled in such a way that the windscreen surrounds can be skinned seperately with any level of satisfaction. So the UF1 kit will be quite basic. There really wasn't much I could do to add any features as such. Stay tuned for the UFR Pro Kit soon.

wa-wa-wa-wait! UFR Pro Kit? didn't u say u won't create one till modelling is approved? It wouldn't be worth of wasting time?
Or does that simply mean update is coming soon with new cmx-models?

UF 1 I have no idea when the remaining modelling and mapping will be completed for the UFR, both LXs and the RB4. Neither does anybody else. I want to complete the XRG kit soon, then move on to the RA and FXO. I had completed the XRG kit just before a hard drive death wiped all of my hard work away, so that's why the XRG has been late in coming on to the kit list. The FXO I never have liked either in looks or handling so it has been neglected purely on contempt. Driving the RA is like driving a boat, so I never bothered too much about it, but I did make the wireframe prior to the hard drive crash, that too is now lost. I'm still playing with a helmet Pro Kit but I need to experiment more and this one may not eventuate. I would expect some changes in the helmet model between now and S3, it is generally agreed that it needs a few more polygons to achieve a more rounded shape. So I won't be killing myself over the helmet kit. The poor old MRT seems to have lost popularity since the FOX was born, but eventually I will do the MRT too.
