I believe image shack changes the filenames so be careful posting skins there.

Bunta, you recommend Photobucket. I just happened to start searching for image hosting last night. Photobucket came up. I didn't like the tags being displayed to everyone so anyone could easily link to pictures you have uploaded. Do you use this since you recommended it? Can you set it up to be viewable without the links to the image tags? It would be useful for posting in here the links to your skins and screenshots and stuff. That would make it alot easier, just copying and pasting. I registered with www.myphotoalbum.com/index.shtml, but I'm not sure if I like it yet. Not sure how easily it is to link straight to an image yet. Mike LFS: NightHawk

You can't post images on a forum without using tags. No matter which host you choose you will need to use image tags to display it on a forum or html tags to display it on a web page. Photobucket also supplies the url without tags. The only thing to remember with Photobucket is that images over 250KB will be resized automatically. So Photobucket is really only useful for images under 250KB. I do use photobucket, I use it for this forum even for small banners and things. Photobucket allows you to display images in a gallery, but you don't have to do that. Just copy and paste the links they provide.

Yea, Photobucket is really cool. I registered last night and uploaded 1 pic so far. It is the latest pic I posted up in "NightHawk's Garage". The image and html tags are really useful for storing the pics in photobucket, then posting in a forum like this. I saw that you can keep your albums private and an option to not display the image or html tags. People are looney for uploading personal photographs online I think, but it is perfect for screenshots and skins for stuff like LFS.

hi,
i just registered at photobucket. one question, though, given the size limitations what should i do to post a skin in 1024x1024? i was thinking to maybe participate in the skinning contest.
thanks for any help,

I just noticed that the photobucket account size has been doubled as well as given an option to choose the max picture size up to 512kb.
