When changing the brake pads on the XRR there is a small metal clip which sits behind the caliper. You always need to turn the wheel to get at this clip, otherwise changing pads can be a real bitch. The XRT doesn't have this problem because it uses a smaller caliper and there is more room to work. It would be easier to change the entire brake assembly on the XRR, it all comes away more or less in one piece. Some mechanics won't touch them unless it's a full brake assembly replacement.
I have the workshop manual around here somewhere..... can't seem to lay my hands on it though.
