Here is my FZR MPH05 skin, again in 2048. I've gone with a slightly darker black on the body and changed some colours on the hood. Enjoy zooming around in this one. You need to put the antenna mount on the roof like you did on the other one - that was a nice touch! I can't believe how much detail you've put into the trim, it's awesome! Skin res will have to stay at 2048 though....

Hehe, nice one. I use the classic style double barred racing stripe when I want that old-school look.

Yeh that's the style I was going for on the street cars. We used my Tribal Pattern for the FOX in the recent, AAL. So close in style though. Didn't want you to think I am ripping you off!! :S

Those last two are awesome.
Have you made an OWL Helmets, helmet skin?

Those last two are awesome. Have you made an OWL Helmets, helmet skin? Yes, several ;D But nothing fantastic as yet. The full Owl Logo looks good on the back of the helmet (but you don't see much of that ) and the smaller logo can be added to the sides or front with varying degrees of success. Eventually I may make a helmet overlay that "brands" any helmet you like with the OWL brand without taking up too much helmet real estate.

I prefer the dark one, but still I really like this a great variation of that design. There's no car in your garage i could dislike anyway - only best quality...

I know it is well-made and everything because I put the time into it, but I just can't get used to it. I don't like it much at all. Before I posted it I showed it to Grey Fox and he liked it, but I told him I didn't. I still don't. I like all things about it, I just don't feel comfortable with them as a combination on one skin.
The Hood design was made for the almost black skin where it becomes a subtle design element, but on the light-coloured bonnet it contrasts too much. Matching the stripes more closely to the base colour (as on the black skin) would make the pattern subtle once more, but it looks sickly due to the pale hues already there.
Black on almost-black (or very similar shades together) can create some fantastic backdrops to contast your decals and other design elements with. This type of "textured backdrop" often makes a fantastic difference to a car's panel, even if it is then covered in decals. But in my last skin, this is not the case. The pattern was never good start with, but that didn't matter when it was very subtle (black-on-black version). Now that I needed high contrast, or rather I needed to avoid washing out the design with pale hues, I made the pattern dark on light. Even fading some nice red tips on the end didn't save the idea. The bonnet ruins the whole car.
I will attempt to fix this skin since it has already taken so much time. If you look back through my FZR skins you will notice that my basic set of FZR skinning components has evolved and grown. Wing uprights, spoiler edge, wing blade edges, and many small things that I can try on each FZR I make. Some things get improved, some get discarded and some I struggle on with hoping I can eventually make them as I want them.

I wouldn't mind having an overlay Helps meto fill up space I otherwise couldn't.. lol I have a real hard time designing a helmet scheme.. I don't know why. Have you tried something with showing the wing going from the sides of the visor to the back of the helm? Might look neat.. with some cool subtle design in the background. ... Hmm.. I've inspired myself. I can see it already.. sorta. Do you have a high res version of your Owl logo? MAGGOT
