I think this design finally found it's resting place. Here is the result: I'm happier with this than I was with the two previous attempts. Skin: 2048 x 2048 1.1MB Skin: 1024 x 1024 376KB

Very nice Bunta, very nice!
The FZR is a little hard to skin, I've just done one and the vents on the sides are difficult to get around IMO.

Yeah that looks great Bunta!! The yellow makes the large fin on the sides stand out more, makes the car look a different shape. It's definately unique, something I'll be going for. Most cars have followed the formula 1 themes but this is different. I like

Some really good fine detailing there, and I like the colour fade gradients on the nose and the rear section. Great work!

Yeah, it's good work, but I still can't get along with the colors you're using. ^^

I'm not quite sure about the colour choice either at least not from a personal taste point of view, but your detailing around the cockpit's particularly good, I spent a little time playing at skinning the F1 before I started the uPGaming pack and boy does the model do some strange stuff to the texture around the back of the cockpit. So to produce something that clear and crisp is either a good job or I'm using the wrong template

Thanks for the comments. I know that if Jimi Hendrix were still alive he would like the colours. The reason the detail is crisp is because I use Corel Draw to make my skins and I screw around a lot to get it right. It isn't perfect but I'm happy with the results at least in 2048.

Yes, that is tasty, very nice, prefer that livery to the Hendrix Memorial racer
