I know these are all rather bland looking, but then I don't try to imitate real world cars or teams etc

I apologise for the poor screenies and rushed web viewer after xmas My LFS website should be up and running using Coldfusion and dreamweaver etc

nice work shannonn but the lights on the XR GTR are to high make it a litle bit smaller and it looks better but however nice work

Thanks for the encouragement; when you say the lights are "too high" do you mean they are positioned too high on the frontal area or are too big in height?

They were a rather rushed addon I have gone back to basics and done some better work on all the S2 models

I find the positioning of stripes on the rear of S2 cars slightly easier - but notice the text renedering of the sunstrip curves downward and needs to be corrected via a bezier curve and align text to path etc same for the rear of one of the cars

I am writing a pictorial step by step tutorial on how to skin the RAC - RA including how to cut out the sills and position in layers etc

Check back in a few days I'll have the latest batch of my team "Monsoft" cars ready I'm not bothering with the open wheelers or the UF1 cars yet

Here's a sneak preview of the RA, in black red and green and some of the others I have done so far as a 3 mb zip file

I include them only the LFS compatible .jpgs so you can pull them into the S2 viewer its a better way to view rather than bugger around with screenies

Shannon, could you please tell me whether or not Fireworks will import or open a CDR file. Thanks mate.

Hi Bunta

CDR format is not among its preferred list of files it reads so I'd say no

However it reads Illustrator "ai" and "art" files also Targa files as well as "eps" so export your cdr to those formats and it should have little problems

But I'll be talking with some Fireworks professionals shortly and will ask for a definitive answer for you

Can't open that template in FWMX needs to be a .ai file type not PS
