Thanks ^_^ They are both 1024x1024 pixels, and 359kb / 322kb in filesize Right now I'm planning to do the same skin for the S2 GTR-cars, and once I'm done with that we'll see what new project I may come up with, so stay tuned ^____^

The XRR-version is done ^_^ [/img] Pure racing, meaning no visible carbon, no chrome etc, and lots of sponsor decals. I know some of you will think it's _too_ many, but when it's about racing I kinda like that, as long as the colours are somewhat matching. Oh, by the way, if there's any interest of public versions of any of my skins, I wouldn't mind making them. So just give me a shout in here if that's the case EDIT: Oops, forgot to mention it (even though it should be quite obvious); I've now started using the LFS companies for my skins. Thanks Bunta for the great decal pack, have used it alot (obviously ).

The skin looks great to me, but I have one small point of advice. Notice the decal on the hood is stretched? This happens in LFS with all of the cars. You can compensate for it by first stretching your skin, then applying the decals, then shrinking the skin back to it's normal size. An average size to stretch it to (if your skin is 1024 x 1024) would be 1280 x 1024. Place your decals, then shrink it back to 1024 x 1024. For most cars and most areas of the cars this trick will make all of your decals appear as they should, for example: round shapes will appear round and not as oval shapes. Maybe try that trick on your next creation? Anyway, nice race skin, see you on the track!

Oh yeah, I've noticed this stretch phenomenon, but I've never really cared about it to be honest. I'll try to manually adjust the hood decals on this skin and keep your advice in mind for future skins. Thanks a bunch, for the compliment aswell EDIT: I was a little worried about the wireframe in the template going all weird when I stretched it, but there doesn't seem to be any problems there either, so it's all good. Like I said, I'll keep it in mind for next skin. And regarding the next skin; we'll see if I'll complete this same version for the other two GTR cars first, or if I'll try something different just to give you guys some variation

FZR version done ^_________^ [/img] Thanks again Bunta, really does look better now About the skin; Tried to go for a little cleaner look than the XRR one, but other than that it's basicly exactly the same skin. I'm pretty happy with how the stripe changes colour together with the base colour (hope you understand what I mean, take a look at the roof and I think you will), I personally think it turned out pretty cool ^_^ EDIT: Updated pic

Yes that looks better. The striping is cool too, I like subtle details like those. Nice work and very clean.

Yeah, little simple details like those tends to make me really excited too, that's why I'm so pleased with it even though it's far from advanced or anything. And thank you, it feels really good to hear such kind words from someone like you Just the FXR version to go now (I'll surely finish it tomorrow), and then I'm gonna come up with something new. I'm not sure what yet, but inspiration usually finds me when I'm simply playing around in PS, so that's not something to worry about. Stay tuned! ^____^ EDIT: Oh damn, I forgot the discreet little slighty-darker-yellow-layer that I've used under the sponsor logos on the sides on every other skin... I'll fix it right away and post new screenies >_< EDIT2: Ok, fixed the pic. The yellow pattern-thingy is in place and all is right in the jungle ;D

And....... Done! ^_^ [/img] And with that, I'm beginning to plan my next project. Will msot probably be for the XRR (for starters), since I really like the design of that car. I have a vauge idea of the design too, so it should be alright ^^

1) cool racing skin - no streetlike carbons, no chrome 2) LFS sponsors instead of mazda and alike! 3) your yellow shade has the same effect as the spring sun -> 4) the skinpack for more cars, yay ;D 5) cool nick

Even at 1280x1024 (well, 2560x2048 for me ATM), the decals are still streched, so i have to squash them more, taking away 25% of the width. At least i think my skin is 5:4...

rayfighter: Hey, thanks man, appreciate it ^_^ PIPI: You sure? Looks quite okay to me, but maybe you're right. Ok, I said no more skins in my "yellow and proud" series for a while, but I felt that I just had to do a little cleaner remake of my XRR skin, with properly stretched logos and all. I think it turned ut alot better than the first one, even if it's just changes of decals + some small details. [/img]
