Ok, I am a complete nOOb to skinning or anything graphical on the computer. I just openned Paint Shop Pro 8 for the first time to skin my first cars after reading through this forum. My first one was whipped up very quickly as I thought the idea would be cool. It didn't turn out so well. But I took some time on the others and hope they meet you master's approval ;D
He he, this skinning stuff could turn out to be more fun than driving on the track.

Hmm, lets see if I can get the image to show. This is my very first, very quickly put together skin. It is suppose to be blue flames kind of like a gas flame.  |

After that first attempt, I figured I'd put some time into one and came up with these two. Again done reletively quickly, a few days each (not one day like the first one). The first one I've always wanted a John Deere skin. I can now think of a little better paint scheme for it. The second one I added contingency sponsorship logos on. They are all the folks that make LFS happen for me ;D. ie, my employment logo, logo's for all my PC hardware, my ISP, etc. and on the back all the LFS based logos, LFS, CRC, RSC, and I will have to add Master Skinnerz now. I didn't want to just put any logo, I thought it would be cool to have logos of stuff I actually use.     Please feel free to comment  . Edit:Updated the Mt. Dew car with the Momo fixed up off the rocker panels and changed the image tags to point to my photobucket pages. Hmm, the code for the John Deere skin is in there, but it is not being displayed. I would take the momo off of the stepping on the bottom... put it on a flat surface... it is hard to read that way  Looks good otherwise |

I love the Mountain Dew logo, maybe you put it on the side as well? the back is missing something as well.

I updated the Mt. Dew car to move the Momo up on the door. Didn't know it would put it like that on the rocker panel when I did it. Also removed the green stuff from the roof since I didn't like it. I have since left GURU Racing since I couldn't participate in any of the races and never saw any of them (I'm US they are mostly UK and Europe). So I have to remove the GURU from the hood yet. I'll have to upload a new shot of it. Those pics are pulled from my website. Here is the next one I did. I wanted to leave it just orange and silver with the number, but they suggest it would be nice if you had the NAL logo on your car if you run in the league and I want to try my hand at the league racing.  |

Since I joined the NAL league, I've had to create a skin to use on the FZ50 road car. I just put it together with some copy and pasted graphics. I had an idea, but didn't have the time to work on it like I should.  |

Got myself 2 new skins to show. My favorite car is of course the FZR since that is mostly what I've done. Now with racing in the NAL league I have to do skins for others as well. So here is my LX6 as well.    That is of course Pink Floyd's Darkside of the Moon prism on the back and the heartbeat from Darkside on the side. On the front is the cover of the Animals album. And up on the hood, the Wish You were Here handshake off the cover. (Just incase you don't know Pink Floyd, LOL) Also updated the image tags in a post above to show the updated Mt. Dew skin and point the image tags to my images in Photobucket. For some reason the tag for the John Deere car is there, but the images are not being displayed. |

Thanks sloejoe and ixl. The quote on the sides of the hood that you can't read in the pics are

And of course,

He he, every Floyd fan knows those two.
Maybe I should put on the back real small "If you can read what is written here you are dying." Hehehe.

Funny running into you here. I was trolling trying to get some ideas for the next season of NAL when I'll have to skin 2 new car classes.
I like the work you have done so far. I have had some ideas but I just can't seem to transfer the images in my head to workable thingies in Photoshop.

nice work Mr rogers.me i love hockey..im from where hockeys USA hall of fame is.i was so bummed when the north stars moved to Dallas yes i said Dallas as in texas..you say what hockey in texas...well we have the Wild now and there young and fun to watch...lets here for hockey is back...nice Pengiun.....oh ya they beat us in a stanley cup in 90 or 91  |

WOAH!, nice car skins. and you havent even been skinning long  . just starting to skin myself but psp scares me, open it with good ideas and plans, but i just dont know where to start, gonna go looking through the psp section now. btw very nice work on your penguin car ;D |
