If your graphics card is capable of anti-aliasing then your current screen shot problem is certainly preventable.

- You need to make sure that AA is set to at least 2x for your card
- You need to make sure LFS screen mode is a 32-bit mode and that you are using at least 1024 x 768
- You need to use full screen before taking your screen shots.
- *If possible, crank up your AA to 4x or 8x before taking the screen shot (you can change it back when you want to actually race).

Windowed mode will not ever be as good as full screen - there are less pixels available. More pixels = higher resolution = smoother outlines and more detail.

When you save your picture in PSP make sure NO compression is used. JPG files use their own compression anyway, so there is no point in making things worse. You want to use the highest quality settings available.

The only way your shots will never be great quality is if you have no AA (anti-aliasing) option for your graphics card.

thanks bunta iv had it set to 32.. but ill have to try the AA.. i basicly keep LFS graphixz maXed ecept 1 that tells me my 3d card cant do it.. ohh i sent u a PM early tellin u that i had asked maggot about the forsale post botu a week ago n he didnt have a prob with it never said anythign to me bout MSz not allowing it...

Dude, do you think I'd even bother posting if I see that everything you're doing is ok? I see that you are doing a lot of things wrong, otherwise I wouldn't tell you do things differently. All the things I listed earlier are correct, and are preventable.

You didn't take your screens in full screen.
You didn't reduce them.
You even kept your windows taskbar on your shot.

Now how is this not your fault?

Your keyboard excuse is also ridiculous. You can take screenshots with ctrl+s from LFS, you can install fraps and set anything as a hotkey. Plenty of ways.

All the people that posted here were trying to help you, but you always come up with some preposterous excuses and try to prove others, who are more experienced than you in LFS skinning, wrong. Learn to take some critique, and try to listen to what people are saying. This is a community where people help each other, so if you want to learn something than you better listen to people, rather than wonder why noone comments on your work.

And as a final remark, proper spelling wouldn't hurt either.

I said that you should try the LFS forums, in the offtopic section, and that there was no place on this forum that it would be appropriate.
