You don't need a powerful PC for LFS. I can already spot several mistakes in your screenshot process. 1, Why are you in window mode? Full screen -> and hit CTRL+S for saving the screenshot. Go to your lfs\data\shots folder, open your screenshot with photoshop, do what you do with it and save with minimal or preferably no compression as jpg. (slider should be 10 or above) 2, CTRL+F for cleaning your screen from times, maps, names etc 3, Read this and set up your graphics for max quality before taking a screenshot en.lfsmanual.net/wiki/Options#Graphics4, Why are you posting 1024px wide screenshots? It's unnecessary, a 600px wide shot will do perfectly fine and will look much better because the weakness of your PC will not be seen that much. I took the liberty of reducing your shot to 600px, and it looks much better and smoother. Now make the above steps, set up your LFS properly etc, and your screen will be perfect.

well since i still run patch V and there are certain processes to it that dont work, liek shift+A and oh wait control+S it is kind of hard to hit control+s to take them huh? and you dont need a powerful PC to run LFS so if i took my DOS 486 computer i can run LFS huh? yea im not seeing that i mean i dont wanna be rude but doesnt every program out have MINIMAL requirements for the computer it goes on? yea thats what i thought...

You won't get help with an attitude like that. Pdanev's post was purely informative and helpful. How are we to know that you run an old version that does not yet have the Ctrl+S feature?
Use the 'Print Screen' button while in game to grab a picture, then open up photoshop and paste it to a new image. (That's the way I do it, perfect quality as it is EXACTLY what is displayed on screen. No need for FRAPS or other software) Like said already, don't post 1024px images on the forums, you shouldn't need any more than 750px. Use Ctrl+F to remove the HUD.
If you can't be bothered to take these steps to display your work, we can't be bothered to comment on it.
I'm turning your over-sized images to links once this message is typed.

Print screen DOES work, it will ALWAYS work. You just need to know it works. Whenever you copy something, it gets put onto the 'clipboard.' Print Screen essentially copies the image on your screen to the clipboard, so you can paste it somewhere (IE. onto an image file to save on your HDD properly). Press Print Screen in the game, load up photoshop, create a new image, and hit 'Ctrl+V' to paste the screen capture onto the image.
It's that simple. It always works.

could it be a possibility that maybe its my keyboard..?? probably.. cuz its been through both my kids growin up the past 3 years , between koolaid and baby bottles so that probably explains y alot of buttons dont work like most of my number pad... but hey i think when they are resized they look just fine even from using paintshoppro 7 screen capture.. and then resizing thime to 600x 350 or around there..

About the minimal requirements. Yes, there are some of course, but the main issue is usually the dilemma between running a game smoothly with high fps or having nice graphics and getting low fps. For screenshots you can set everything to maximum, and even if you get 5fps it doesn't matter. I don't have a PC, I'm a laptop person. On my previous laptop which is now 5 years old, LFS was running perfectly fine. Sure I had to take the graphics down, no high-res shadows etc, but it was perfectly playable. For screenshots I bumped the graphics up as much as possible on my 64mb ATI mobility radeon which had drivers from 2001, and it did an excellent job for screenshots of 6-700px. In short, LFS will run even on a 5year old laptop with an incredibly weak graphics card with very very old drivers. Usually the problem is not the computer but how things are set up and how much effort one puts into making a proper display of the work to be shown. If you PC is weak, you have photoshop and at the cost of some extra effort you can make anything possible. Another thing that you might want to try is taking screenshots from CMX viewer. That doesn't have any minimal requirements. As Maggot said, this is just information to help you resolve some of the things you were doubting and improve the quality of the way you display your skins. What you make out of it is up to you...

Well here is another new design REPLICA made by me.. modeled fromt the 2004 Cadillac CTS-V race car. This Only took me about 5 hours to get it to look how i thought it should... I also did something different and did it in 2048x2048 instead of the normal 1024x1024 i think the change in my style worked out well.. Pretty damn good if i say so.
