Hi, I saw a few people have renders of there skins, I was just wondering how they are made. Is it something you can do in photoshop or the S2 Viewer? Or do you completely make them from scratch with something like 3D Studio max?

You can convert the CMX mesh files into 3DS Max format, using a converter found on RSC forums. Then you will need to set the UVW mappings so that the skin is mapped correctly to the mesh. Many recent renders are rendered using the excellent Brazil renderer plug-in.

Talking my languge now. Have to see if I can find the converter at the RSC forums. But I do have win3d so I may not need it. Wonder how they would feel if I did some body panel work on some of the LSF cars. ;D

A RB4 GTR was done. It's only a model... I think the devs wouldn't mind. They can maybe even get some ideas for new cars/improvements on the ones already in games form the models.
