I started this thread a while ago. Now I'm asking about real race car designs. I'd like to do a few real cars to improve my Paintshop Pro'ing without having to come up with the design as well. I never was into watching much road course racing until recently (since I've started racing LFS). I don't know any of the racing series. Where can I find good picture examples of road racing cars? What are some of the racing series called so I can search better? Any time I search for something, all I get is Nascar stuff. Now, I am a long time fan of watching Nascar, but the paint schemes don't really fit to LFS. I'd like to find more car examples like we have in LFS. Hmm, just reread my original post there and realize I said the same thing up there, LOL. I thought I was saying something alittle different now. But anyways, if someone could post a list of different racing series or post a link of their favorite site for viewing good pictures of race cars I'd appreciate it. The one link posted above is a motorcycle accessory retailer and I didn't see any pictures anywhere. Much appreciated, thanks. I'm in exactly the same position as I've only recently started skinning. I've found that by reproducing real race car livery that I've improved my Paint Shop Pro skills significantly (and this is a package that I have never really touched). Once I feel comforable with the package I'll start to have a go at my own designs. As for ideas, try www.stillphotography.co.uk - there are heaps of pictures from different classes there. If you're after logos, why not look in your LFS skins and skins_x folder? So long as you don't plagiarise the skin I don't see a problem with using logo's from there. Of course the other location to get these are manufacturer websites.
