Omg, that is good! I'm already waiting for the time I can do the same (as in scale models of my concepts) when i get into the uni. On another note, my contribution to the thread. Haven't posted anything worthy on deviantART for a while. more on my dA : FuseEST.

Looking to buy one of these this year as a project to work on with my better half. Went to Brighton last weekend for the 50th anniversary London to Brighton run.. sweet as collection of classic Minis (we won't include the BMW abortions). There's something about these cars that have a certain appeal... and you've captured that brilliantly in your pic Regards, Ian

Hi fella.. I guess a fair bit changed. I wasn't around so much online... my Mum passed away 2 years ago which knocked the sh!t out of me for a while as we were really close.. got kinda involved with the BMW E30 "scene" (currently have a lockup containing about 4 cars worth as parts as there seems to be a market for it... gave me a chance to swing spanners around again by breaking the car and to get cheap spares for my own). I quit rF modding (ISI never fulfilled, IMO) and LFS is as fresh as 12-month old milk. I also got offered a job by a firm as their senior (web) developer which is a really busy 9-6 (includes clients such as the BBC and various well-known UK drama schools and others, such as the Royal Ballet etc) and settled down properly with a lovely lady, although this didn't go down well with her ex who repeatedly stalked her and turned up at my house with a 4" blade a few times.. iffy ground when you been mates with 'em for ~18 years I guess (although had I known what he was _really_ like.. that friendship would never have been). Life's busy as hell now what with full-time work, still doing some freelance projects, breaking motors and spending time with my 12 year old lad. Just built a new quad-core box so enjoying a few games I could only dream about running on my old AMD3000+ such as GTR Evolution, TDU and FarCry2 but mainly just working and will soon be picking up a classic Mini for me and Clare to work on (she wanted to be a mechanic when she left school.. although ended up working with kids as a nursery manager and now a carer). Will either find a Metro Turbo for an engine etc donor or go the 1275 route with twin-40 carbs.. so still involved quite a bit with cars.. just more in the flesh than virtual these days Anyways.. that's a summary.. hahah... I see some familiar "faces" around here still. How's life treating you fella? Regards, Ian

I'm doin good.. just finished up second year of my Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, 2 more to go. Working full time in an Industrial Design firm which I've been with for nearly 5 years now. Just had dinner last night with a beautiful young woman Not much to tell.. just been really busy with work and school mostly. I wouldn't mind getting my hands on some E30 parts... ah to have the money to do so... Ryan

Sounds like college / uni is going well... I can almost remember those years way back Any E30 parts in particular you're after? I've shipped a few bits to some fellas in the US already. Seems there's a real shortage of parts over that side of the world for them. Regards, Ian

I'm mostly looking for the entire car, in perfect working condition. Left hand drive. I can offer you the $35 currently in my wallet. I wish I could afford a car...

heh.. I guess if you add 3 noughts to that $35.. you might be able to pick up a genuine E30 M3, which would be LHD Here's my pride and joy that I paid £1,000 for about 10 months ago.. 1988 325i.. came 40mm lowered along with H&R adjustable rollbars and I bolted up my Mongoose stainless exhaust I had on my previous one. Carbon airbox will be fitted soon and an LSD. Spent ~4 hours washing and polishing the exterior.. but was well worth it. Generally gets a wash and polish once a week Any my previous one (cost £525) which wasn't quite as nice (found more rot in it than I thought it had): and the remains after a morning with a few tools Regards, Ian
