Well, I thought about trying some captain Morgans tonight, but still no sailboats! Theres just something about cutting my 5 acres of grass that vodka just can't fullfill. Otherwise, I always enjoy a good Bloody Mary! Daloonie... I started playing with the XRR tonight I'm still in body kit making mode though. heres a small preview

Hehe, yea, I think that fuel intake should be moved a little. That's not a good situation there! lol Seeing as how we have ATL in LFS (A real Fuel Technologies company, whos fuel cells are in common use in sportscar racing) Why not use one of the ATL fuel inlets? Might be neat. I really like how you've added the metal and rivetting around the exhaust, and matched it up to the existing metal. Very nice. i think it should just say beer is for inbred rednecks and we should all take a good example from my book and drink vodka ;D I seem to recall, on multiple occasions, you drinking some Alexander Keith's, Mike....

Im a 'form' over 'function' kinda of guy. wtf... we have firesuits! LOL Even if it didnt catch fire, I'd hate to be the fueler and wind up with burnt toes! Yeah... definately wasnt thinking there. The damn exhaust plate took me hours!!!! and it still doesnt all line up, but zoomed out a little its barely noticeable. I wouldve liked it to be a polished aluminum, but alas the dirty lfs exhaust will have to do.
I'll look into the atl fuel inlet and move it probably to the rear. I didnt think the body clasps would work, but they dont look too bad, so I'll try to get them all (and body lines) in place. I shouldve put this in WIP.
I cant get to other cars, I'm still working on this one, and once completed, I then have to do some skins for it. but eventually, all of my 'bodykit' outlines will be made public. I've already been testing an 'add-on' kit for the FOX.
edit: oh I almost forgot... so what happens if I lose my keys with this car? lol... they put door locks on it?

Took some time off and got the body template done. Heres an original design for you Daloonie! But basically I just wanted to play with it. The dark blue doesnt help to show all of the bodywork, but I'll try to get the add-on bodykit soon. Skin File: HiRes (2.0mb)

Seems like a nice kit, but I'd take the fake vents off. On the Monster skin above I'd give the fake panel gaps a thin shadow or stroke on the graphics (on the monster-text for example).

Looks great Rob! What is 'Monster?' The text and logo look vaguely familiar, but I can't place it.

That is one fine looking car. Nice job robby.
Though to save filesize use the black mask that comes with the master skinnerz skin kits. 2MB is alot even for a 2048 skin.

DOH! Hadnt even thought of the black mask thingy. Will do from now on.
Monster Cable (audio stuffs). It's why I used the funky circuit board thingy background. And if anyone's ever saw (or sees) this design on a DBR-9 let me know ASAP!
Speaking of DBR-9's, I originally tried to sorta make this body look like one, but quickly gave up after I couldnt get any of the hood scoops to look anywheres near decent. Im mixed on the ductwork. they worked great on the FOX, but I'm sort of in agreement that they dont work as well on the flat panel XRR. Not sure what you meant by the shadows on the monster text? I have the body lines running through all graphics, but I dont go so far as to cut 'gaps' in the decals or paint, I just shadow and highlight them.

i meant give the fake body lines a faint shadow or stroke so that it seems the graphics are sinking into that gap a bit as the bodyshape changes
